The Penz13.com BMW Motorrad Racing Team’s preparations for the season-highlight at the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy (TT) are done: Gary Johnson and Danny Webb gave their BMW S 1000 RR machinery a good real time test at the Vauxhall International North West 200 last weekend and therewith concluded a pre-season of testing and some racing before the all-important TT races at the Isle of Man, commencing this weekend with the Newcomer sessions.

Penz13.com – BMW Motorrad Team retires from 24 heures Moto du Mans

Le Mans, France. The Penz13.com – BMW Motorrad Team had to retire from the 24 hours of Le Mans, the season opener of the 2016 FIM Endurance World Championship, after battling for the lead in the first seven-and-a-half hours. Riders Kenny Foray, Mathieu Gines and Lukas Pesek showed a great pace on their BMW S 1000 RR to fight for the podium or even the win, but the race ended prematurely after a combination of unforeseen circumstances.

Le Mans, France. The high hopes of the Penz13.com - BMW Motorrad Team were washed out during today’s first Qualifying session for the 24 heures Moto de La Mans, the first round of the 2016 FIM Endurance World Championship. The team struggled in rain, hail and changeable conditions. The bright spot of the day has been the Free Practice session in the morning with Mathieu Gines, Kenny Foray and Lukas Pesek finishing in third position in dry conditions.
